Hydromulching – We are experts at several types of hydromulching. We apply a slurry of
fibers and bonding ingredients that protect your product with a protective blanket to minimize wind and water erosion.
Vegetative establishment - We apply seasonally correct species of grass seed with fertilizer
and straw mulch for the purpose of establishing vegetative cover.
Silt fencing –
We provide several types of silt fencing to meet a wide variety of erosion control and regulatory compliance. We carry:
- Pre-assembled Silt Fence
- Machine Sliced Silt Fence
- Heavy Duty Silt Fence
Seeding
– DOT (Dept. of Transportation) Mixes, Sunny/Shady/All Purpose Varieties – If you have a special mix that you
need for your project, we can get it for you.
Hydroseeding – a planting process
which utilizes a slurry of seed and mulch. The slurry is transported in a tank, either truck or trailer mounted and sprayed
over prepared ground in a uniform layer. Hydroseeding is an alternative to the traditional process of broadcasting or sowing
dry seed. It promotes quick germination and inhibits soil erosion. The mulch in the hydroseed mixture helps maintain the moisture
level of the seed and seedlings. The slurry often has other ingredients including: fertilizer, tackifying agents, green
dye and other additives.
Bio Logs (wattles) - diminish storm water runoff pollution by
capturing sediment. They also help prevent erosion by reducing slope lengths and slowing and spreading water flow.
2 Sided Mesh Straw or Coconut Blanket – With degradable thread, used for slopes and provides
erosion protection for 12 to 24 months.
